The StrixLabs Password Compromise Checker doesn't actually check whether your password is part of a data breach or hack.

While this page is harmless, and clicking the "Verify" button simply sent you to this page, you should never enter your password anywhere on the internet where you are not familiar with. This includes when you are asked to "reset your password" or "verify your account" on a site through mail, messages, or otherwise.

Should you really have to reset your password or credentials, you will likely be warned the next time you'll try to visit the real site. That way, you know the request is legit.

If you usually us an app, try opening that app instead and 9.5 times out of 10 you'll be told whether you really need to reset your password.
